BrainSavers' Synapse Quarter 1

Welcome to BrainSavers!

BrainSavers® provides exercises for your brain, your body, and sometimes both simultaneously! You'll learn about brain health and brain function from our founder, Paul Bendheim, MD, a board-certified neurologist who teaches at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, and Gina Touch Mercer, PhD, a geropsychologist who also teaches at the same university. You will also be put through your paces by Angie Moore, our Program Manager, who is an expert at designing and leading exercises for seniors. Before engaging in this exercise program, make sure you are in good physical condition and do not suffer from any known disability or condition that would prevent or limit your participation. An examination by a physician should be obtained by anyone before commencing a fitness and/or exercise program, or initiating a substantial change in the amount of regular physical activity performed. If you chose not to obtain a physician's consent before beginning this fitness program, you should continue at your own risk. It is your sole responsibility to participate in exercises that are appropriate for the current status of your health. It is your responsibility to ask your doctor if this activity is appropriate before participating. This program is not medically supervised, and exercise activities are led by independent fitness instructors
